The DAX30 at All-Time High
The record run of the DAX continues: the leading German index marks a new all-time high at 13,739 points. The old record from the end of January is history again. The strong US stock exchanges play a major role in this rally as well.
Trading this Wednesday is likely to have a significant impact on further DAX development. You just have to take a look at what happened on January 22nd of this year, when the DAX hit a record high of 13,640 points. Immediately after the high score, profit-taking started and the index even closed trading in the negative. It then slipped even further below the 13,000-point mark within a few days.
Will the 14,000-mark soon fall?
A start towards 14,000 points should come as no surprise. Concerns about the negative consequences of the coronavirus on economic growth faded into the background, especially since the number of new cases has recently decreased. Goldman Sachs analysts also confirm they see limited impact of the virus on the global economy.
